From Monti - 12/02/2024
Hi Summit Ambassadors,
I am trusting everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving day! Mine was wonderful!
The first weekend in December, the 7th and 8th, is considered an A-Team weekend. At this time (12/02), all Summit ski areas are closed for operation.
As we proceed through this ski season, my goal is to have this UPDATE page updated by the end of Wed. evening. Steven says his Wed. evenings end at midnight!!
Since we are now in the home stretch for the beginning of this ski season, please check all online info (e.g., Roster, Holiday Duty Schedule, EDGEauditor Waiver) to make sure you're ready to go. If you find inaccurate info on the Roster, notify Steven. Also notify Steven if you find spelling mistakes of your name on the Holiday Duty Schedule. Remember, if you're listed on the wrong date or need to change a date on the Holiday Duty Schedule, you have to go through me. I have directed Steven to ignore requests that don't come from me.
As you work through this season, remember to please document all hours worked on a calendar at home. That way, you'll have proof in case I can't find your submitted hours. Sometimes things get lost in cyberspace.
If you haven't yet received your jacket, you need to reach out to me via email so we can set up a meeting place and time.
If you've decided to order a vest, please contact Carrie Jensen. To find her contact info on the AOS Roster, look under Team SE 2a. Have your order in by the end of Friday, Dec. 6th.
To get more info about The Summit's new parking program, go to < https://www.parkatthesummit.com/ >.
Also, don't forget to download The Summit's app onto your phone. You'll need to delete this app from prior years for this seasn's app to work.
Also, once you get your Parking Pass email, be sure to SAVE that email for future reference. You might find the email with the needed link in your JUNK folder.
Cheers,
Monti ❄️
Be sure to check the Summit's website before going up. Road conditions and Summit operating schedules can change at the last minute.
As always, continue to send in your online Time Sheet as soon as possible. Don't fall behind on your shift reporting. As a backup, make note on a paper calendar when you ski a specific day. Looking up your hours on the server is not an option.
Thanks for being considerate,
Monti
