Roles & Responsibilities

As a Summit Ambassador, you play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest who visits The Summit. Your enthusiasm and dedication make you an essential part of our mountain community.

    • Guest Interaction: Be the friendly face that greets our guests at all base areas. Your warm welcome and willingness to assist are key to making each visitor feel at home.

    • Provide Directions & Information: Help guests navigate The Summit, from lift locations to finding their way to the best runs or facilities. Your knowledge of the mountain is invaluable in guiding them.

    • Share Mountain Updates: Keep guests informed of daily conditions, events, and any relevant news happening at The Summit. You are a trusted source of information for everything happening around the resort.

    • Problem-Solving: Be ready to handle questions, resolve minor guest concerns, and direct any larger issues to the appropriate team members.

    • Safety Awareness: Keep an eye out for safety concerns in your area. Whether it’s reminding guests of safe mountain practices or alerting ski patrol, you play a part in maintaining a safe environment.

    • Morning Check-In: Arrive at your assigned base area on time, ready to begin your shift with a smile. Check in with your team leader for any important updates.

    • Peak Hours Presence: During busy times, your visibility is key. Spread out at base areas, ski lifts, and popular gathering spots to assist as many guests as possible.

    • Afternoon Wrap-Up: Before the end of your shift, make sure to check in with the team leader, share any relevant observations, and wrap up your duties for the day.

    • Professionalism & Friendliness: Always represent The Summit with a positive attitude, even on the busiest or most challenging days.

    • Engagement: Take the initiative to approach guests who look like they might need assistance. A simple smile or hello can make a big difference.

    • Teamwork: Collaborate with your fellow Ambassadors and other resort staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.

    • Knowledgeable Resource: Stay up-to-date on mountain conditions, special events, and any operational changes. Use the resources provided to be a well-informed guide for our guests.

    • Flexibility: Be prepared to adapt to changing conditions or needs. Every day on the mountain is different, and your ability to go with the flow is a key part of what makes you great at your job.
