Ambassador Program FAQs

Your Questions, Answered

  • Ambassadors are required to complete 88 hours of work at their assigned area each season. This is equivalent to eleven 8-hour shifts. The hours you attend the November orientation meeting also count toward your 88-hour requirement.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Monti via email.

  • To return to the A.O.S. program for the following year, you must fulfill the seasonal hourly quota and receive a positive recommendation from your team's Lead.

  • To apply, simply fill out the online PDF application for the A.O.S. Program. Once completed, send it to Monti via email or snail mail.
Please Note: Our roster is currently full for the 2024-25 ski season. We encourage you to check back with us in October 2025, when we will begin accepting new applications. We look forward to hearing from you then!

  • Yes! Ambassadors will receive a parking permit code to park for free. You can register up to two vehicles per code, but can only have one vehicle active and parked at a time. Any dependents who are 16 and older will receive their own parking permit code as well. Information on the portal and instructions on how to register will be included in the email you receive with your parking permit code.

  • You can review the new parking guidelines and how they apply to season passholders, daily tickets holders, Ikon passes, etc. here: Parking Guide.

  • If you need to miss a scheduled shift due to illness or a change in your personal schedule, it’s your responsibility to find a replacement. Please do not leave your team shorthanded. Use the AOS Roster to find someone who can cover your shift. You can either arrange a shift trade or have someone fill in for you that day. Make sure to inform your Lead about the change. If you cannot find coverage, please notify your Lead.

  • If your uniform is damaged or lost, please report it to Monti as soon as possible. You are responsible for maintaining your A.O.S. jacket. Any damage or loss will be covered by the deposit you have on file with The Summit.
